I bought a 2017 Mustang last year. The experience was great. The issue came when I bought the car. The car had a blown engine. Day 1. Horrible experience.
The owner of the dealer gave me 2 options. Get a used engine “free of charge†or get a new engine with warranty for an additional $1,000 bucks.
I was highly frustrated by this. I mean, yes they are fixing it. But blown engine on day one? Like how did this pass through inspection?
Either way, I did get the latter option (new engine). And my car has been running great. One year has officially has passed by. And I didn't want to leave a review yet because I didn't know how to feel.
But all I can say is that they made a mistake, but they fixed the mistake. And I have been enjoying my car very much.
It wouldve been a 5/5 review if they've put the new engine free of charge but, it wasn't that big a deal. And im still covered under Ford's warranty.
Props to Alicia (sorry if i got her name wrong). She did her best to help us through the whole process. She was the best!
