I'm extremely disappointed with the way Ride Now Motors in Monroe, NC handled the towing of my daughter's vehicle this evening. Her insurance had briefly lapsed but was reinstated earlier today before the vehicle was towed—proof of coverage was going to be submitted to the office the following morning. Still, the car was towed without any notice. Technically, the car was towed without cause, because at that point, it already had active insurance coverage. This is going to cause a major disruption for my daughter, who is in the final weeks of nursing school and absolutely cannot afford to miss any days. Now we are stuck covering unnecessary towing fees and Uber costs—expenses that could've been avoided entirely.
As a customer, I expected better. This situation was handled poorly and unfairly, and it reflects very badly on the dealership's customer service.
